Explore Austrian culture, history, entrepreneurship and daily life over 11 days through immersive academic and experiential learning activities while earning course credit for INT-110: International Business.
Students examine Austrian society through lectures on culture, tourism, gastronomy and the workplace while experiencing life in Salzburg and its surrounding regions. The program also includes hands-on workshops in traditional cheese making, bread baking and apple strudel preparation, visits to historic landmarks and local markets and excursions to the Salzkammergut region and either Vienna or Munich.
Dates: June 6-16, 2027
Faculty: The course will be led and taught by Wake Tech faculty member Jeff Myers.
Accommodations: Students stay at a Salzburg College dormitory or in a local hotel, with two to four per room.
Meals: The hotel or college provide a continental breakfast each morning. Other meal options are available in area markets and restaurants.
