Intended Audience
The course is intended for candidates, bilingual in Spanish, that are interested in the field of Cosmetology and seek to obtain a Cosmetology license.
Este curso introduce conceptos básicos de la cosmetología, incluyendo la imagen profesional, sanidad (o higiene), bacteriología, anatomía, champú, relajación, ética y la manicura. Otros temas relacionados serán introducidos como son las prácticas fundamentales de los servicios de cosmetología, tales como tintes y decoloración del cabello, entubado y pedicuras.

This course will be taught in Spanish. Este curso se enseña en español.

Certification Learning Outcomes/Requirements
  1. At the end of the training, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be able to register to take the Cosmetology exam.
CE to CU Articulation
Students must attend a Cosmetology information and orientation sessions.
Students must present either a copy of their High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (GED) or must have passed the Career Readiness Certificate tests with at least Bronze level.
