College Remains Closed Tuesday

All Wake Tech campuses remain closed Tuesday, February 3, 2026, due to slick road conditions. Students taking in-person classes should check with their instructors for more information. Online courses continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech services, including Admissions and Academic Advising, are available virtually at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.

Certificate Programs

  • The Graphic Design Foundations Certificate is an introductory program covering the core design software tools used in the workplace and the basics of design theory.

  • NOTE: This program is being terminated and isn't accepting new students. Faculty advisors will work with current students to ensure they complete their certificates by May 2027.

    The Web and Graphic Design Certificate is an introductory program teaching the core design tools and HTML/CSS.
