Campus Police Officers Host Dodgeball Competition for Special Olympics
RALEIGH, N.C. (June 21, 2019) – Officers from Wake Tech’s campus police force showed off their dodgeball skills today at the Scott Northern Wake Campus. They won first place in a dodgeball competition to benefit the NC Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Wake Tech officers battled teams from other local police departments, including NC State, Duke University, and the town of Chapel Hill.
This is the second annual Wake Tech Campus Police Dodgeball Competition. The event raised about $800 dollars. All of the proceeds benefit the NC Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
