International Celebrations Showcase Traditions
RALEIGH, N.C. (November 16, 2018) - With dozens of countries on display, Wake Tech’s International celebrations are a stunning picture of cultural diversity. This year’s events took place today on Wake Tech’s Southern Wake Campus and Scott Northern Wake Campus. The festivities included songs, dances, fashions, and foods from around the world.
Students performed traditional dance routines and hosted a fashion show featuring traditional outfits.
Wake Tech is committed to fostering an environment of respect and understanding among cultures. The college serves a diverse student body, with 106 countries represented. The International celebrations are organized by the Office of Student Activities, the Student Government Association, the International Friends Club, and the Campus Diversity Committee. The events are highly anticipated and well attended!
