Lenovo Speaker Series Continues at RTP Campus
RALEIGH, N.C. (October 22, 2018) - Lenovo continued its Speaker Series at Wake Tech’s RTP Campus tonight with a session on Big Data. Dozens of students and IT professionals came to hear Dr. Ajay Dholakia, a principal engineer with the Lenovo Data Center Group. He works on customer solutions for big data, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and healthcare. He discussed how the explosive growth in data available to businesses is creating new challenges and a need to use emerging technologies to transform IT architectures.
The Lenovo Speaker Series launched last week with a session on Cyber Security. The final discussion is Thursday, October 25. It will focus on artificial intelligence. The talk will introduce basic concepts of AI and offer real world examples of how it may change society and the business world.
