Registration Period Opens for New Students

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 19, 2014) - New students who have completed the application process can now register and pay for fall classes. The registration period, which opened earlier this month for continuing students, now includes students who are new to Wake Tech. Registration is available online at http://webadvisor.waketech.edu. Students are encouraged to register early, as seats in the most popular classes fill quickly!  

For those who have not yet applied to Wake Tech, it’s not too late! The streamlined application process to enroll in a degree program has six steps: 

  1. Complete an online application
  2. Apply for financial aid or veteran’s benefits
  3. Request transcripts
  4. Schedule a placement test
  5. Attend orientation
  6. Meet with an advisor 

Once the six steps have been completed, a student can register and pay for classes. Financial aid applications received over the summer may not be processed in time for fall semester.
