Wake Tech is closed Friday in observance of Good Friday. Prospective students can still apply online. The college will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.

Senior VP Appointed to Morrisville Chamber Post

RALEIGH, N.C. (January 30, 2018)​ – Wake Tech Senior Vice President Rita Jerman has been named Treasurer of the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. At Wake Tech, Jerman oversees Enrollment and Student Services and serves as Chief Campus Officer of the RTP Campus on Chapel Hill Road in Morrisville. Jerman says she’s honored to be a part of the Morrisville Chamber and looks forward to contributing to the region’s continued growth. “Wake Tech is very excited to have a new campus in Morrisville and to partner with such a dynamic community.”

Jerman has been a visionary leader at Wake Tech for nearly 30 years. She sees the new RTP Campus as a “next-generation” learning environment that will bring higher education and industry together to provide unparalleled new opportunities for students. The 94-acre campus is strategically positioned to serve the needs of business and industry in Research Triangle Park and western Wake County. It will house Wake Tech’s Corporate and Business Solutions division, offering industry-inspired programs and customized employee training. It will also offer college/university transfer opportunities, and specialized academic programs in Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, Data Storage and Virtualization, Network Management, and more. 

The RTP Campus opens summer/fall 2018 with a 109,000-square-foot classroom building. Ultimately, it will have the capacity to serve 7,000 students, with nine buildings and a full array of student resources and services. Learn more at rtp.waketech.edu.
