Three Trustees Reappointed

RALEIGH, N.C. (August 17, 2022) – Three members of the Wake Tech Board of Trustees have been reappointed to new four-year terms.

Edward Paradise, Jamie Thomas and Dr. Saundra Williams took their oaths of office during the August 16 regular board meeting.

Paradise has been on the board since 2012. Thomas joined in 2018, and Williams began her service in 2020.

New Student Government Association President Annika Hedemark also took her oath of office and serves as an ex-officio non-voting member for 2022-23.

Thomas was also re-elected chair of the board, and Kellie Falk was re-elected vice chair.

Wake Tech is served by 12 trustees, all of whom are appointed – four by the governor, four by the Wake County Board of Commissioners and four by the Wake County Board of Education. Trustees establish policy for Wake Tech, approve the annual budget and serve as advocates for the college and its services.
