RALEIGH, N.C. (July 6, 2026) – Wake Tech is hosting its fourth-annual Open House en Español on July 21 to connect Spanish-speaking residents with the college's workforce training and education programs.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Beltline Education Center, at 3200 Bush St. in Raleigh. Participants can also attend virtually on Microsoft Teams.

The Open House will feature presentations on popular non-degree English and Spanish courses in healthcare, construction, cosmetology and workforce development. Interested individuals can also learn more about academic programs, basic skills programs like English as a Second Language (ESL), High School Equivalency (HSE) and academic and workforce preparation programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour construction and HVAC labs and the cosmetology salon and speak to staff about their education and career goals.

"The goal of the Open House en Español is to reach out into the community and engage Hispanic residents by providing information in Spanish about the college, the courses we offer and the variety of programming available,” said Maribel Madera Garcia, director for Community Outreach and Partnerships. "We're here to help residents find their pathway to new skills and career opportunities."

Sign up to attend the event and explore Wake Tech's non-degree training catalog of courses in Spanish at enespanol.waketech.edu.
