Certified Medical Administrative Assistant with Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist + Medical Terminology (Vouchers Included)

The Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) with Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) + Medical Terminology is an online program that prepares you for a rewarding, in-demand career in the health care industry. In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts that the job market for medical assistants will grow 15% through 2033, which is much faster than the average job. In this dual electronic health records specialist certification and medical administrative assistant certification program, you gain a range of medical office management skills that health care professionals need for a successful career in a medical setting.

This all-inclusive National Healthcareer Association-aligned course can unlock the door to a thriving career. It offers valuable training in medical office management and legal, ethical and regulatory concepts. Training also covers information on what is stored in an electronic health records (EHR) system, the steps required to implement an EHR system in a medical practice and how staff members and patients interact with EHR systems. This medical administrative assistant with EHR training even reviews what benefits these systems provide compared to traditional paper records.

The Medical Terminology course component introduces key concepts of medical language and human anatomy, emphasizing the interweaving of body systems in health and disease. The curriculum covers the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous and immune systems, along with mental health and special senses, with exams at the midterm and final stages. Students with prior knowledge can optionally test out by achieving a minimum score of 80%, replacing course content if desired. It is important to understand that this course feature applies only to the online Medical Terminology course, the standalone course or advanced career training course bundles that include the Medical Terminology course.
