Open House is Saturday
RALEIGH, N.C. (October 6, 2025) – Future Wake Tech students can explore all the educational opportunities the college has to offer at its Open House on Saturday at the Southern Wake Campus in Raleigh.
Open House gives visitors an inside look at Wake Tech's degree programs, transfer pathways and student resources. From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., guests can tour the campus, attend information sessions and meet with faculty, staff and current students to learn more about academic opportunities.
"Open House is a great way for future students to see our campus, explore labs and connect with instructors," said Anthony Garnes, director of College Access and Outreach. "We want visitors to leave knowing that Wake Tech offers something for everyone and that we are this community’' college, committed to helping students reach their education and career goals."
The event will feature an Academic and Resource Fair with more than 60 booths representing programs across the college, as well as support services including Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Registration & Records, Career Services, Disability Support Services and Military & Veteran Services.
Information sessions are scheduled throughout the morning on topics like university transfer, Health Sciences and Nursing admissions, Business Administration, Computer Programming &, Simulation & Game Development and more. Attendees can also visit specialized training labs for Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts, Cosmetology and Esthetics, education and fine arts where students and faculty will be present to showcase the spaces and share their experiences in the programs.
Open House visitors can also enjoy a 20 percent discount at the Wake Tech Bookstore during the event.
