Bookkeeping: Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Online



Participants with little to no familiarity with QuickBooks will become proficient in using the Intuit accounting software. Course topics begin with bookkeeping basics and progress to activities using QuickBooks Online, such as administration, transactions, journal entries, sales, vendors, receipts and reports. By the end of the course, students should be prepared to take and pass the Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User certification exam.

Course Objectives

Navigate and use QuickBooks Online to set up company files, manage account settings and perform essential bookkeeping functions

Apply QuickBooks Online workflows to manage customers, vendors, invoices, payments, expenses, deposits and basic payroll activities

Perform financial recordkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations and the preparation of standard financial reports

Apply small-business bookkeeping practices using QuickBooks Online to support accurate financial management and daily business operations

Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to successfully complete the Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User certification exam

Certification Learning Outcomes/Requirements

Demonstrate proficiency in the use of QuickBooks Online features and functions, including setting up company files, managing customers and vendors, recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial data.

Apply QuickBooks Online skills to perform common accounting tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliations, reporting and financial record management.

Successfully complete the Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User certification exam by meeting the minimum passing score established by Intuit.
