Cosmetology is a professional, on-the-job-training course, and all students must maintain a professional appearance and conduct themselves professionally at all times. No exceptions.
Uniforms must be purchased from the Wake Tech Bookstore:
Solid Caribbean blue uniform pants (2-3 pairs)
Solid Caribbean blue uniform shirt, monogrammed (2-3) – monogramming includes first and last names and Esthetics Department
Solid black, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes
Black socks
Caribbean blue lab coat, monogrammed – monogramming includes first and last names and Esthetics Department
No variations are allowed in the uniform, and the complete uniform must always be worn in any area of Cosmetology/Esthetics.
All uniform components must be kept neat, clean and in good repair. If a sweater or jacket is necessary for warmth, it must be Caribbean blue and monogrammed. Turtlenecks and the like may be worn under uniform tops but must be solid black and professional-looking.
