Wake Tech is seeking to expand its pool of adjunct faculty for tutorial support. Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) tutors do the following:
Provide tutoring activities to increase student achievement, including developing workshops and supplementary handouts as appropriate
Create and maintain publications and other communications projects that benefit the TLC in general
Ensure proper procedures for time cards and registration
Perform administrative duties, such as necessary record-keeping to meet auditing requirements
Stay abreast of current trends in tutoring in the adult education field through various forms of professional development
Conduct workshops as needed
