The Web & UX Design program prepares individuals to plan, design, develop and maintain professional, high-quality, responsive websites, create digital media and integrate web technologies to support an organization's needs.
Students learn the foundations of UX design, including empathizing with users, building wireframes and prototypes and conducting research to test designs. They are exposed to the latest in technologies and applications used in the industry, including the following:
The Web & UX Design AAS Degree and all related certificates can be completed 100% online. Some introductory courses are also offered in person at Southern Wake and Scott Northern Wake campuses.
Graduates will be proficient in HTML, CSS, web design, prototyping, JavaScript, UI/UX, web analytics, social media and internet marketing.
