Course Offerings

This course is designed for students needing portions of the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program (BLET) who do not have to complete the full program. The blocks of instruction are a prerequisite for certification or re-certification as a law enforcement officer in North Carolina. Each block has a state-specified number of hours that must be completed. The total number of hours required for each student depends on that student's needs, as identified by the NC Criminal Justice and Sheriff's Commission and the agency. Upon completion of the required classes, students may take the state exam.
