Everyone has a childhood home packed with memories, and wouldn't it be nice to be able to create a lasting image of this home in artwork? Here's your chance. Learn basic techniques of drawing black and white illustrations with pen and ink. Once you are familiar with some basic drawing skills you will work from a photo to create your house portrait.

Learning Supplies Needed

2 Sheets of (smooth) Hot Press Illustration Board 15x20
1 set of 3 micron pens (1) 01 (2) 03 (3) 05
Pencil, soft lead either 2b or 3b
1 kneaded eraser
Clear plastic triangle (small to medium size)
An assortment of French curves (circle or ellipse) are useful but not required.
Roll of regular or blue masking tape
Small desk lamp, either battery-operated or a plug-in.
Small 8" x 10" pad of tracing paper
