After having completed this training, participants will understand the benefits of aquatic vegetation, and the chemical challenges associated with excessive aquatic vegetation and pesiticides that impact aquatic vegitation. In addition, they will learn to identify commonly observed aquatic plant life, and determine appropriate aquatic plant management (pesticide) and chemical strategies suited to various site conditions. Students will also understand equipment necessary in managing aquatic vegetation.
