Environmental Health & Safety

The Wake Tech Department of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) is dedicated to the reduction of risks in the college community and the promotion of safety and environmental stewardship as a value in our culture.

EHS conducts annual fire and severe weather drills in all buildings, at all campus locations. In conjunction with the Campus Police Department, EHA offers “How to Prepare for Emergencies on Campus” training for faculty and staff year round. It includes fire, weather, and threat emergencies.
