Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.

Wake Tech's University Transfer programs allow students to earn an associate degree while completing core coursework toward a bachelor's degree at a four-year institution. But Wake Tech has also made it a priority to develop transfer partnerships for students in Career and Technical programs – students who are earning Associate in Applied Science degrees – making all Wake Tech degrees transferrable to a university for further study.
