Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
Alex Flowers, a.k.a. "Professor Doc ScholAr," discusses "Da Miseducation of BrainSTEMology." He shares some of his history with the Carter G. Woodson Library in Chicago and his current quest to encourage students to explore the many opportunities available in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. Flowers coined BrainSTEMology as a way of increasing STEM learning and engagement.

Alex Flowers holds a master of science degree and goes by the nickname "Professor Doc ScholAr." Flowers coined BrainSTEMology as a way of increasing STEM learning and engagement. He was the keynote speaker at Wake Tech's START Student Showcase in November 2022.
