How Do I Meet With An Academic Advisor?
New students who have never been to college before (except Health Sciences majors) should sign up for a group advising session. Students pursuing Health & Fitness and Human Services Technology should also sign up for a group advising session. These sessions will include placement test results (if applicable), course planning, and next steps for enrollment.
Continuing/Currently Enrolled Associate in Arts and Associate in Science students may meet with an Academic Advisor in the following ways:
Walk-in services are available at Southern Wake (Main) Campus and Northern Wake Campus Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To avoid long waits, meet with an advisor as early in the registration process as possible.
Appointments are available at certain times of the year on a first-come, first-served basis at Southern Wake (Main) Campus and Northern Wake Campus. Appointments are required for advising services year-round at Public Safety Education Campus and Western Wake Campus.
Health Sciences students (except Health & Fitness and Human Services Technology majors) may meet with an Academic Advisor on a walk-in basis at Perry Health Sciences Campus Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
Continuing/Currently Enrolled Associate in Engineering, Associate in Fine Arts, and Associate in Applied Science students may schedule an appointment with their Faculty Advisor by email, as follows: Log on to WebAdvisor, select "Current Curriculum Student,” then “Communication,” and “E-mail my Advisors.”
