Description

The Wake Tech Accounting Club is sponsoring a three-part Bridging Minds workshop, which introduces the concept of neurodiversity and explores the broad range of neurological differences it encompasses.

Through a focus on understanding neurodivergent perspectives, enhancing communication and implementing supportive workplace practices, the series equips students with the strategies and tools needed to build inclusive, productive working relationships with neurodivergent clients and colleagues, including individuals with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and other neurological variations.

Part 3 integrates skills into realistic accounting contexts. Students practice scenarios and adapt deliverables such as checklists, organizers and engagement letters into more accessible formats.

For those who cannot attend in person, the session will be on Microsoft Teams (the link is available in the Wake Tech Accounting Club Teams group) and will be recorded for watching on demand.
