Digsi 5 - Systems

Students with fundamental knowledge in DIGSI 5 and SIPROTEC 5 relays will learn advanced applications with the technology. These applications include: advanced logic and Interlocking creation, Automatic Transfers Schemes (ATS) with Goose, Online Troubleshooting with advanced applications and communications protocols.

Course Objectives

develop complex logic applications using Siemens DIGSI 5 software, develop and train the protection knowledge, learn how to troubleshoot complex issues with the SIPROTEC 5 relays and learn how to build advanced display pages in the relay.


Outline of Instruction

Siprotec 5 and Digsi 5 Overview

Advanced CFC (logic) Programing

Advanced Interlocking Logic

Automated Transfer Scheme with Goose

Online Trobleshoot

Advanced Display symbols

Communications with IEC-61850 client and Modbus Client.
