Commercial A/C AAS

Wake Tech Course ID: A35100B

The Commercial A/C AAS Degree provides the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work with residential and light-commercial air conditioning systems.

Course work includes the following topics:

  • Mechanical refrigeration
  • Heating and cooling theory
  • Electricity
  • Controls
  • Safety

AAS degree graduates should be able to assist in the installation, service and repair of residential and light commercial systems and should be able to demonstrate an understanding of system selection, balance and advanced systems.
