Wake Tech is bringing resources and educational opportunities that lead to economic mobility to area communities that need it most.
The college has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County and identified several other community organizations, including Communities in Schools, Raleigh Dream Center, Salvation Army and JUNTOS, to assist in serving our most vulnerable residents.
A Workforce Community Outreach Officer, based at the Boys & Girls Clubs, works directly with club members and the community at large, providing middle and high school students greater access to Wake Tech and workforce and career training opportunities.
