Cybersecurity AAS

Wake Tech Course ID: A25590CS

The Cybersecurity AAS Degree equips students with the knowledge and hands-on experience to protect computers, networks and data from cyber threats.

Courses cover network technologies and operating systems, ethical hacking and digital forensics, information security policy and intrusion detection, security administration and industry best practices. Students work in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Upon completion, students will be prepared for a variety of industry-recognized certifications, including the following:

  • Certified Ethical Hacker
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst
  • Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
  • Cisco Certified Support Technician - Cybersecurity
  • Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator
