College Resumes Normal Schedule Wednesday

Wake Tech resumes normal operations on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Campuses reopen at 8 a.m., and most classes are held as scheduled.

Building H on Scott Northern Wake Campus is without power and will remain closed until power is restored. Students with classes in Building H should check with their instructors for more information.

Geomatics Tech I Certificate

The Geomatics Tech I Certificate allows students to explore various aspects of surveying at the fundamental level.

Course work includes an introduction to AutoCAD and Civil 3D, GIS applications such as ArcGIS Pro, and basic UAS/drone rules and regulations. The certificate allows students to explore various aspects of the geomatics (surveying) field and sets the groundwork for more advanced concepts and technologies.
