You may qualify for a scholarship through Wake Tech's Propel program.

NOTE: The Propel Scholarship application is currently closed and will reopen on March 1.

Wake Tech also offers scholarships tied to the Nurse Aide program:

• Aware Senior Care CNA Scholars Program
  
  Aware Senior Care's Wake Tech Nurse Aide I Scholarship Program awards graduating Certified Nurse Aide I students $600 to cover the complete out-of-pocket costs incurred as part of the program. The award payments are on a graduating scale, based on hours worked as follows:

  • Awarded $400 at 320 hours of employment completed
  • Awarded additional $100 at 400 hours of employment completed
  • Awarded additional $100 at 480 hours of employment completed

  To qualify, students must start employment within one month of obtaining their Certified Nurse Aide certificate with the award program running for one year from the start of employment.
  Aware Senior Care provides in-home companion care, personal care and nursing services to seniors and those who are disabled or chronically ill. • Carolina Meadows Scholars Program
  
  Carolina Meadows has immediate openings for full- and part-time positions. After one year, employees qualify for up to $2,500 yearly for courses, continuing education units, seminars and licensing tests at any approved educational institution.
  
  Carolina Meadows is a continuing care retirement community for independent, active senior adults that features a full slate of recreational activities, five dining facilities, a golf course, comprehensive on-campus medical care and extensive continuing education opportunities.
