The Workforce Initiatives Workgroup includes the following Wake Tech faculty and staff members:

In collaboration with Human Resources, the workgroup focuses on the following issues:

• Enhance recruitment, hiring, retention and advancement practices
• Support the college's efforts to grow faculty, staff and administration that reflect the diversity of the Wake Tech student body
• Strengthen student workforce connections and experiences

The workgroup has undertaken the following initiatives:

• Develop a "Grow Our Own" program
• Support Wake Invests in Women in reaching its goals for women in STEM-related fields
• Promote and recruit students for the One Ten Initiative
