High School Equivalency Transcripts (Formerly GED®)
Registration & Student Records Services does not process request for GED® Transcripts. If you earned a high school credential in North Carolina by completing the official High School Equivalency Test, visit the NC Community Colleges website for information on how to request an NC High School Equivalency Transcripts.
Adult High School Transcripts
Registration & Student Records Services does not process requests for Adult High School Transcripts. You can request a copy of your Adult High School Transcript by sending an email to [email protected]. The email should include the student’s name at the time of attendance, date of birth, year of completion and the complete address where transcript should be sent.

Registration & Student Records Services provides official and unofficial transcripts upon written authorization from the student. Unofficial copies are provided at no charge. Official transcripts will be issued at a charge of $5.00 per transcript due at the time of the request when requested via mail, in person or via fax. Transcripts may also be requested online via our service provider, the National Student Clearinghouse. Online transcript requests will incur an additional $2.50 convenience fee that is collected by the National Student Clearinghouse, along with the Wake Tech fee of $5.00. Transcript requests will not be processed, under any circumstance, for students who have any outstanding indebtedness to the College.
To protect each individual's privacy, a transcript request must be signed by the student or graduate. The request should include the following information: student identification number, date of birth, last four digits of social security number, and the dates the individual attended Wake Tech. Please make sure to enter your current address to avoid delays in receiving your transcript. Transcript requests may be submitted in person, by mail, by fax, or online.
In person requests for official and unofficial transcripts may be made at any of the following campus locations:
- Main Campus – Registration & Student Records, 243 Student Services Building
Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Perry Health Sciences Campus – Student Services Center, HS2 Building
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Northern Wake Campus – Student Services Center, Building A
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
You must bring photo identification to pick-up your transcript.

or fax it to 919-662-3564. Do not mail cash; send a check, money order, or credit/debit card authorization. If you are faxing, you will need to provide a debit or credit card number (Visa or Mastercard only) and expiration date to cover the $5.00 per official transcript fee.

Please note that online transcript orders will not be processed until the signature sheet is returned to the National Student Clearinghouse as indicated in the ordering process. Nor will transcript orders be fulfilled if there are any financial holds on the student’s record.
