Registration & Records provides official and unofficial transcripts upon written authorization from the student. Unofficial copies are provided at no charge. Official transcripts cost $10 each, with payment due at the time of the request when requested via mail or in person.

Unofficial transcripts also can be printed from Self-Service. Simply click on Student Planning, then click Academics and select View Unofficial Transcript from the drop-down menu.

Former students who cannot access Self-Service may request an unofficial transcript by emailing [email protected]. Please include a valid photo ID with the request so we can verify your identity. Requests may also be made in person at the Registrar's Office.

Requests for official transcripts may be submitted in person, by mail or online – faxed requests are not accepted. To protect privacy, all requests must be signed by the student or graduate. The request should include the following information:

• Student ID number
• Date of birth
• Last four digits of Social Security number
• Dates attended Wake Tech

Transcripts can be requested online through Parchment. You may choose to have your transcript mailed or sent electronically.

Each transcript costs $10, and an additional $4.39 will be charged by Parchment for the use of their service.

You must bring photo identification to pick up your transcript.

You will need to attach a copy of a picture ID (Wake Tech ID, driver's license, etc.) to your request if sent by mail. Pay with a check or money order; do not mail cash.

High school equivalency and Adult High School transcripts

DiplomaSender will fulfill all North Carolina high school equivalency records requests.

To obtain an Adult High School transcript, email [email protected] with the following information:

• Name at the time of attendance
• Date of birth
• Year of completion
• Complete address where the official transcript should be sent
