Mechatronics Certificate

Wake Tech Course ID: C40320S

The Mechatronics Certificate provides an overview of the technology used in the field of mechatronics.

Course work includes the following:

  • Mechatronics
  • Circuit analysis
  • Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Mechanisms
  • Fluid power in automation

The certificate program cannot be completed in a single semester. Some of the courses have one or more prerequisite courses that must be completed first.

Upon completion of the program, students will have the opportunity to take the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program Level 1 exam to be a Certified Mechatronics Systems Assistant (Intelligent Machine Operator).
