The Plumbing Applications Certificate covers general plumbing layout, fixtures and water heaters. Students will be introduced to the North Carolina State Building Plumbing Code and the math applications used in the plumbing industry.
Topics include, drainage, waste and venting, water service and distribution, fixture installations, faucet installations, water heaters and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to safely install common fixtures, faucets and systems in compliance with state and local building codes.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
