College Closed for Memorial Day

Wake Tech is closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for Summer and Fall classes. The college will reopen Tuesday morning.

Preschool Foundation Certificate

Wake Tech Course ID: C55220G

The Preschool Foundation Certificate's five courses provide a foundation for early childhood professionals working with young children. The certificate is stackable within the Early Childhood Education diploma and associate degree programs.

Upon completion of EDU-119, students earn the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential and qualify to be a lead teacher in a child care center.

Additionally, all courses with EDU prefixes are used to evaluate the educational level of each child care provider by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education.
