Wake Tech is seeking to expand its pool of adjunct faculty for tutorial support. Individualized Learning Center (ILC) tutors do the following:

• Provides tutoring activities to increase student achievement, including developing workshops and supplementary handouts as appropriate
• Creates and maintains publications and other communications projects that benefit the ILC in general
• Ensures proper procedures for time cards and registration
• Performs administrative duties, such as necessary record-keeping meeting auditing requirements
• Stays abreast of current trends in tutoring in the adult education field through various forms of professional development
• Conducts workshops as needed
