College Closed Monday Because of Winter Storm

Due to inclement weather, all Wake Tech campuses will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026. Students taking in-person classes should check with their instructors for more information. Online classes will continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech services, including Admissions and Academic Advising, are available virtually at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.

Transportation Advising Team

The team provides specialized advising and coaching support for Associate in Applied Science degree students enrolled in the following programs:

Agricultural Systems Technology
Automotive Systems Technology
Collision Repair & Refinishing Technology
Construction Equipment Systems Technology
Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology

Each student is assigned to an academic advisor within his or her care team. To find your advisor, go to Self-Service, click "Student Planning," then "Plan and Schedule and then the "Advising" tab.

Advising is available on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You also can schedule a virtual advising appointment.
