Fall Open House is Saturday
RALEIGH, N.C. (October 7, 2026) – Future students and their families can get an up-close look at academic programs, student support services and campus life during Wake Tech's Fall 2026 Open House on Saturday at Southern Wake Campus.
The annual event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and offers attendees the opportunity to explore academic programs, learn about admissions and financial aid, connect with faculty and staff, and experience campus life firsthand.
Visitors can tour the campus with current student leaders, meet with Career Services staff and learn about the many resources available to support student success. More than 60 booths representing academic programs, student services and campus resources will be featured.
Information sessions will be offered throughout the morning on topics including financial aid, admissions, university transfer and dual enrollment through Career & College Promise.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit specialized labs, studios and learning spaces, including Culinary Arts, Cosmetology and Esthetics, education and fine arts. Faculty and current students will be available to answer questions and share insights about their programs and experiences.
"Open House is more than an opportunity to visit campus. It's a chance for prospective students and their families to see what's possible," said Anthony Garnes, director of College Access and Outreach. "Attendees can experience firsthand how Wake Tech helps students turn their goals into a clear path forward. We want every visitor to leave feeling informed, welcomed and confident about taking their next step with us."
Wake Tech's Open House is open to high school students, adult learners, parents and anyone interested in exploring higher education and workforce training opportunities.
