Wake Tech will soon debut the college's new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), and we need your ideas.
The QEP is a cornerstone of the college's reaccreditation and is aligned with our Reach and Rally strategic plan. It guides us in an important quest for improvement over the next several years.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to submit name and logo ideas that exemplify our QEP topic: Problem-Solving with an Emphasis on Communication. The QEP will focus on improving students' skills in solving problems and communicating effectively. It also will increase faculty proficiency at building problem-solving and communication exercises into their courses. Students and faculty can earn competency-based recognition for their efforts through a micro-credential program.
Entries will be evaluated on composition, originality, usability, creativity and focus on the theme. The winning entry will be announced March 28 and will receive $500!
To enter, choose a name from one of these three finalists or suggest a new one:
Then, design a logo to accompany the name. Remember that a great logo is instantly recognizable, simple, memorable and applicable for different forms of media.
Complete and submit the contest entry form by 5 p.m. on March 7.
Logo designs must meet the following criteria to be considered:
NOTE: Accepting the prize constitutes permission for Wake Tech Community College to use the winner's name and the logo to promote the QEP online, in print and on merchandise. The winning entry becomes the sole property of Wake Tech and is subject to revision by Creative Services to comply with Wake Tech visual standards.
Wake Tech reserves the right not to select a winner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received. Wake Tech reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry at its sole discretion.
