Tailored for teens and pre-teens, this fun class is for any skill level, using any camera from a basic Point
Course Objectives
  1. be able to compose images for enhanced storytelling with photos and understand how to use basic camera functions such as the different modes, ISO and other features (specifics are camera dependent.)
Outline of Instruction
  1. Day 1 – Self Introductions to Camp Members (Name, Camera type, What subjects they like to photograph, What they hope to get from the Camp), Course overview, Buddy Assignments, Learn camera buttons and menus, Fun exercises, Homework assignment, Identify photography questions to prepare responses throughout week.
  2. Day 2 – Announce schedule for the day, Review and critique homework, General photography discussion, Morning exercise (outdoors when possible), Lunch, Afternoon exercise (outdoors when possible), Review and critique daily exercise images, Homework assignment
  3. Day 3 – Announce schedule for the day, Review and critique homework, Aperture (Depth of Field) discussion, Morning exercise (outdoors when possible), Lunch, Afternoon exercise (outdoors when possible), Review and critique daily exercise images, Homework assignment
  4. Day 4 – Announce schedule for the day, Review and critique homework, Shutter (Freeze Action) discussion, Morning exercise (outdoors when possible), Lunch, Afternoon exercise (outdoors when possible), Review and critique daily exercise images, Homework assignment
