Registered Plumbing and Pipefitting Apprentices
Description
Plumbing and Pipefitting Level 2 presents more advanced concepts related to plumbing and pipefitting, including oxy-fuel cutting, water supplies, drainage systems, system repairs, plumbing fixtures, related sciences and services. These occupational skills are necessary for work as an apprentice in plumbing and pipefitting. Apprentices generally work in construction environments; potential hazards include but are not limited to extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and others typical on construction sites.
Course Objectives
  1. Level 2 students will have an understanding of Oxy-fuel Cutting, Water Supplies, Drainage, Related Services, Related Sciences, Plumbing Fixtures, and a more in depth understanding of Plumbing Codes.

Must have access to Plumbing and Pipefitting Lab to perform hands on assessments
Requirements for Successful Completion of this Course
  1. Attendance 80% or above
  2. Participation
  3. Pass all written exams with a minimum grade of 70%
  4. Successfully complete hands on demonstrations of skills.
