Intended Audience
This fourth and final course in the Introduction to Korean series is intended for students who have completed Introduction to Korean parts I, II, and III or who have equivalent experience.
Description
Develop intermediate-level skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the Korean language. This course includes real-life conversations, writing assignments, and Korean television programs. Upon completion, students will be able to converse, read newspapers, and enjoy television and films in Korean.
Course Objectives
  1. develop the reading, speaking, listening & writing skills for an intermediate-level speaker of the Korean language.
  2. learn effective Korean conversation skills.
  3. be able to hold a practical conversation in Korean.
  4. follow conversations in K-drama, Korean films, and TV shows and read Korean newspapers with relative ease.
Outline of Instruction
  1. Adjectives, proposition (shall we~?) / ‘With’, ‘and.'
  2. Impossibility, denial or refusal/ reasoning/ because/ hope to.
  3. Have tried (something)/ have experienced (something).
  4. Comparative sentences/ adverbs.
