Description
Are you ready to join over 80 million people already speaking Korean? This beginner’s course is for those who have never studied Korean – or have studied it in the past but not retained it. Focus on reading and writing the language, grammar, syntax, and effective communication.
Course Objectives
  1. learn consonants and vowels
  2. build communication skills and to understand Korean grammar
  3. begin to read and write Korean
Outline of Instruction
  1. Consonants and Vowels: making sounds and combining letters
  2. Greetings: Introductions
  3. Nouns(Things): asking the name of things
  4. Yes/No question/Counting unit: ordering in a cafeteria and buying things in a store
  5. Subject marker/Proposition: location of a person and a building
  6. Number: telephone number, what date, how much
  7. Daily routine verbs: talking about daily routines
  8. Present verbs/Objective marker: making a plan
  9. Past verbs/Negation: talking about past events
  10. Location: location of an object
