Description

This course is for the Plumbing Level II code enforcement official who has the responsibility of inspecting residential and commercial plumbing installations in construction up to 60,000 square feet. It builds on information presented in the Level I course and gives Level I inspectors, homeowners, real estate professionals, construction managers, and planners a better understanding of the Plumbing Code and the Energy Conservation Code of the North Carolina State Building Code and how to apply them. For those pursuing a career as an Inspector Level ll, this course satisfies one of the requirements for licensure by the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board.

Certification Learning Outcomes/Requirements

Upon successful completion of this class and in conjunction with other requirements as set forth by the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board, students will be able to sit for the Plumbing Standard Level ll exam.
Upon successfully passing the State exam and by complying to the rules as stated in Section 11 NCAC 08.0706 of the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board Regulations, a standard certificate will be issued.
