The Minority Male Success Initiative is designed and structured to enhance the educational success of all minority males currently enrolled in the NC Community College System. The target group for the 2016-17 academic year will be all incoming first-year minority male students attending any of the 58 North Carolina community colleges. Colleges may continue to serve all students at their institution, and efforts that you make can impact all students at your institution. However, in order to establish a baseline for the initiative, colleges need to focus on the incoming class of first time in college 2016-17 minority male students.
