Celebrate Wake Tech East's Grand Opening

Wake Tech East, the college's ninth location, opens with a College Showcase and Community Celebration, featuring tours of the facilities, food trucks, music and more. Come join in the fun, starting at 5:30 p.m., at 5401 Rolesville Road in Wendell.

Programming Certifications

The non-degree programming courses are for individuals with little to no programming experience who are interested in learning various computer languages for new employment opportunities or to upskill for employment readiness.

Students will learn to write and test code, gain a fundamental knowledge of Agile methodology and be prepared for the Microsoft MTA 98-381: Introduction to Programming Using Python exam.

Don't have enough money to pay for a course? Right now, Wake Tech's Propel program offers scholarships that cover the cost of registration, fees, books, course-specific supplies and credentialing exams.
