(May 30, 2017) - Wake Tech students have an exciting new opportunity to learn from the best: Lenovo has brought on 12 students as paid interns who will work at the company this summer, kicking off a partnership that will be offered on a semester basis. While most of the internships are in information technology, there will be additional opportunities in areas such as marketing and business analytics.

Wake Tech christened the sparkling new kitchen facilities at its Northern Wake Campus with the “Bake Tech Mixer,” a VIP reception, on Tuesday evening, April 25. The event (named for the popular “Bake Tech” video series the college launched last year) raised funds for Baking & Pastry Arts scholarships and program needs.
RALEIGH, N.C. (April 22, 2017) - Teams of engineering students from Wake Tech and Durham Tech faced off today in a competition that literally got wheels turning! Their challenge: to design and build a “Rube Goldberg” machine that could perform a simple task in a not-so-simple way.
