Description
Assess your own entrepreneurial abilities and the feasibility of your business ideas. Over the course of eight three-hour sessions, you’ll develop a business plan for starting and running a new business (or operating an existing one). You’ll examine every element of a business operation, from mission statement to financials and sales forecasting. Your “homework” will be to complete the first draft of a business plan. Supporting material and other resources are available for download, and access to course content is available for a full six months after completion of the course.  
Course Objectives
  1. Learn what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
  2. Understand how to conduct market research and test the feasibility of a business or idea.
  3. Learn how to write a good business plan that contains all of the necessary elements.
  4. Learn how to market and fund a business.
  5. Understand what local and national resources are available to help build and manage a successful business.

  1. Assess your own ability as an entrepreneur.
  2. Evaluate the feasibility of your business idea.
  3. Align personal goals with your business idea.
  4. Create organizing and marketing strategies.
  5. Explore pricing for your product or service.
  6. Develop capital needs & sound financial statements.
  7. Research, develop, and write a comprehensive plan for your business.
