Gain computer skills that will help you find employment! Sharpen your keyboarding skills and become familiar with the computer desktop. Learn how to use email in your job search. Find job openings using career websites and learn tips on completing online job applications.
Course Objectives
  1. have developed a moderate comfort level with using a computer to search for employment.
  2. have increased keyboarding and mouse skills and identified resources to continue to practice.
  3. have learned basic email functions such as sending/receiving messages and attachments.
  4. have increased knowledge of completing online job applications.
  5. have built confidence to move ahead with their job search.
  6. have honed necessary skills to gain employment and in today’s workplace.
