Description
Carpentry Apprenticeship Level 4 continues instruction for work as a Carpenter Apprentice at new construction sites and on remodeling and renovation projects. The course completes the series by providing more advanced concepts such as site layout and differential leveling, angular and distance measurement, advanced roof, wall and stair systems, construction equipment, oxy-fuel cutting and arc welding, site preparation and fundamentals of crew leadership. Carpentry Apprenticeship Level 4 is the fourth and final course in the NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) curriculum for Carpentry Apprenticeship.
Course Objectives
  1. learn more advanced skills required of a fourth year Carpentry Apprentice. Students will develop knowledge, skills and abilities in areas such as site layout and differential leveling, angular and distance measurement, advanced roof, wall and stair systems, construction equipment, oxy-fuel cutting and arc welding, site preparation and fundamentals of crew leadership.

  2. Participation
  3. Successfully completed all module exams with a minimum score of 70%
  4. Successfully completed all hands-on assessments
